PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP Globalization Services enables the customers to expand their business worldwide and create value chains for sustainable growth, thus making every customer best-run business everywhere. Globalization Services owns, secures, and enhances Globalization of SAP solutions across the entire solution portfolio, covering technical prerequisites, translation, global business practices and local requirements.

Being part of the HXM (Human Experience Management), you will be working on the localization of Cloud Native Payroll. You shall be working on some of the latest cloud native technologies and be part of the micro service development architecture.

You will work in a Scrum team with a diverse mix of highly motivated young and mature talents focused on Java and other technologies like Rabbit MQ, HTML5, SAP UI5, ODATA.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
  • You work as an experienced Java developer in an agile development team according to the Scrum methodology
  • You work on Core, Platform topics and develop Applications using Microservices.
  • You contribute to architecture and concept definition depending on your experience.
  • You take over responsibility for design, testing, implementation, maintenance, and customer support activities.
  • You cooperate closely with colleagues across functions within and outside of your development team to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
Education And Qualifications / Skills And Competencies
  • Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in one or more of the following fields: information technology, computer science, mathematics, applied sciences, engineering or a related area.
  • 4-6 years of experience in cloud software development.
  • Very good programming skills: advanced knowledge and experience in Java development with Strong analytical skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Spring, Spring-Boot.
  • Experience in working on a cloud product especially in a dev-ops model of development.
  • Knowledge of lean development infrastructure process including Git, Jenkins, and exposure to Continuous Delivery practices.
  • Experience of application development especially in the HCM area (Human Capital Management) is an advantage.
